THIS IS WHERE I LEARN.
ABOUT
Art is just a way I express myself. Here’s where I take a deep breath, unwind, and refocus.
MY LITTLE TEAPOT
GRAPHITE PENCIL ON SKETCH PAPER
Created during an intense four-hour college class, this piece shows my focus on slowing down and really studying light, shadow, and form in a simple, everyday object. It took lots of time and back pain to capture this detail, but it was worth it!
HOWLS MOVING CASTLE
ACRYLIC PAINT ON CANVAS
FUN FACT: I painted this before seeing the movie! I saw this image on Pinterest and fell in love with it. A few years later I finally saw the movies.
This painting blends soft florals, a calm river, and a glowing sunset to capture a sense of peace and quiet magic.
ANXIETY LINES
ACRYLIC PAINT ON CANVAS
I created this at the beginning of the hardest year of my life. I struggled extremely with anxiety and painting became a place where I could refocus those negative feelings. This piece plays with movement and contrast, using loose lines against a bold yellow background to describe how my body felt.
LADY IN RED
DIGITAL ART CREATED USING ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
Another piece I created in college! I designed this in Adobe Illustrator using small details—lines, x’s, and dots—to build texture and personality.
